- Scale: Lagos is one of Africa's largest cities and feels it. Accra is smaller and easier to navigate.
- Concerts: Lagos has more headline concerts across more nights. Accra concentrates its biggest events between 27 and 31 December.
- Traffic: Lagos traffic between the Island and mainland can take hours. Accra traffic is heavy in December but more manageable.
- Beaches: Accra's beaches are easier to reach from the city. Many of Lagos's best beaches need a boat.
